Pam McAllister received a Magna Cum Laude Bacherlor of Arts
degree in Early Childhood Education from Roanoke College,
and earned a Certification in Choral and General Music
Education from the University of Utah and Vandercook College
of Music. She is also certified in Kindermusik, Music for
Young Children, and The Listening Program.
As a Certified Music for Young Children teacher, Pam provides
a comprehensive music program that integrates keyboard,
singing, ear training, sight reading, creative movement, rhythm,
music theory and music composition. The result is a music
program that provides a broader foundation than traditional
beginner private piano lessons. Pam is trained to meet the needs
of the child in a creative one on one setting, or for stronger
social skills, in a group setting.
Pam has been teaching music in public schools and privately for
24 years, and has also served as the Minister of Music at Shady
Grove United Methodist Church in Mechanicsville, and the
Goochland Baptist Church. Pam's ability to teach and perform
music ranging from pop to the classics is well-known. She
teaches students of all ages and abilities. Lessons $25/half hour.
