Lenten Retreat
Finding Sacred Space With Our Creator and Savior
Friday, March 4, 2011 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Lent is a time of self-examination, reconciliation, and preparation to celebrate Easter and receive
God’s gift of love as our hope and salvation. Come into this holy time of retreat and learn about
Lent, Lenten practices, and creating your sacred space with God to hear His messages for you.
This will be a wonderful evening of prayer, fellowship, creativity, and a candlelight worship
experience you won’t soon forget. Open to men and women, ages 15 and up. Cost $20
Lenten Retreat for Deaf Youth
Saturday, March 5, 2011 from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
American Sign Language will be provided for this creative retreat focused on the ideas and
practices of the Lenten season. This is a creative “kickoff” for future visual arts workshops and
camps designed for the deaf youth community. Bring your ideas of what you would like to see
offered in the future.
