About Us
Our Mission
The Center for Creative Arts, a ministry of Shady Grove United Methodist Church, offers individual and group instruction in many facets of the arts for all ages, faiths, and skill levels. Through quality instruction in a non-competitive, nurturing environment, The Center strives to instill an appreciation of the arts and enable the expression of creativity that will enrich students' lives as they discover and develop their gifts and talents; and share their talents with friends, family, and community.
The Center for Creative Arts offers private music lessons and group art classes to over 200 students in the West End of Richmond! Our Music Recitals are offered twice yearly - in December, and in the spring. Art classes are offered for students ranging from preschool, elementary and
highschool students to adults.
The Center offers some of the most popular half-day summer camps in the Richmond area. Children can choose from art, dance, chess, robotics, and musical theatre camps.
