Lessons
Private Music Lessons are taught by professional musicians who will work with each student to meet their musical goals and develop their skills. One of the most popular studios for music lessons in Richmond, Virginia - over 150 Center students also choose to participate in Music Recitals which are held in December and in the Spring. Private 1/2 hour music lessons range from $33.00 - $38.00. Forty-five minute and one hour music lessons are also available.
With the exception of drums and piano, students will need to provide their own instrument at each lesson. In order to develop their skills, each student must have access to the instrument of their choice to practice at home. We are currently offering both in-person and virtual options for private music lessons at The Center! In-person lessons are held in a ventilated, and socially distanced setting in rooms with Hepa air purifiers. Masks are optional. For virtual lessons, students use either a tablet, phone, or laptop positioned so that the instructor can see their hands and instrument. You can see our Covid-19 mitigation plan here.
