Phyllis Coffman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Church Music from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has taught piano lessons for 32 years, and has served as a church musician for various churches and denominations for over 42 years. She has directed and accompanied choirs of all ages from children to Senior Adults. Phyllis plays piano, organ, and loves to sing. She enjoys introducing her piano students to the four main periods of Music History and guiding them through learning excerpts from these genres. Phyllis is the organist and pianist at Ridge Baptist Church. She loves gardening with her husband, Robert, and playing in the Handbell Choir at church.
