Robert Coffman received a Bachelors’ degree in Music Education from VCU, and a Master’s in the Science of Education from Shenandoah University.  Robert recently  retired from Henrico County Public Schools where he taught middle school chorus, elementary general music, beginning band and guitar. Many of his middle school choirs received Superior and Grand Champion ratings at National Completions.  Robert is the Music Director at Ridge Baptist Church, Richmond, VA. where his duties include directing the Chancel Choir and Handbell Choir. Robert has played electric bass guitar for many years. He has extensive experience performing with bands including rock, country, jazz, easy listening, disco and contemporary Christian. He also plays electric bass guitar for Ridge Baptist Church Praise Band.

Robert teaches acoustic and electric guitar, electric bass guitar, trumpet, French horn and voice lessons for students of all ages. His focus is to share his love for music with each student and inspire him or her to have that same love.
