Sherri Smith has been an art educator for Henrico County Public Schools for over 20 years and a summer camp art teacher for the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts for more than 10 years.  She is a graduate of ODU and VCU, with a master’s degree in art education.  She was named Elementary Art Teacher of the Year for the State of Virginia, served on the Board of the VAEA and has presented numerous workshops at the state conferences. She loves working with children, tapping into their strengths and talents, and focuses her free time on strong curriculum writing, and reading and discussing literature with her book club.
