In this focus session, students will learn the elements and techniques for setting up and painting successful still life works.  Learn about form, lighting, composition, values, sketching, and more.  Discussion will include what makes an interesting subject and how to paint with more confidence.  All levels welcome!  Students may paint in oils or acrylics and must provide their own supplies.  Email us for a supply list.​​​​

In this open studio session, students will work on individual projects of their choice with guided assistance, demonstrations, and topics of discussion from the instructor.  Students may work in acrylics, oils, and drawing.  This class provides a nurturing environment to elevate your creativity!  All levels welcome!  Students provide their own supplies - email us for a supply list if you are new to painting!

Adult Christmas Centerpiece Workshop

December 2, 2025 from 6:30-8:30pm  $40/person

Join this fun session to create a beautiful centerpiece using recycled garland!  We all have a box somewhere of Christmas past greenery that has seen better days.  Let's revive it into a beautiful centerpiece adding fresh elements to bring the joy back!  You will also learn some additional ways you might use remaining pieces, make beautiful bows, and enhance other decorative elements throughout your home!  Please bring a strand of pine garland or an assortment of pine picks or swags, and any additional sprigs you might like to add, revive, or share!  Container, styrofoam, ribbon, and additional accessories will be provided.  Makes for a fun friends night!

Adult Landscape Painting -  January 13 - February 17, 2026

April Plein Air Painting Workshop - April 7 and 14  

Tuesday Mornings 10:00 am - 12:00 pm  or  Tuesday Evenings 6:00 - 8:00 pm

2 Weeks  $74 (Rain/harsh wind make up date - April 21)

In this workshop, students will learn about the gear, techniques, and importance of painting in the great outdoors!  En plein aire began with the Impressionists and the movement is very active today.  We will paint one session on campus and the second session off site at Wellesley or Echo Lake.​​
